Since I am laying on the couch, I thought I might pick up the computer and blog.....

For the past 2 days I have been getting ready to have my Sunday School class for dinner on Saturday.  No cleaning yet......................just cooking.  I am planning for 25 at the most, but the RSVP tally is 18 guests and 3 workers.  Jason is smoking a Pork Loin for me and I am so excited.  He is such a great grill master!  Shea and Laine are coming to help serve.  It will be a sit down dinner served in courses.  We will start off with a cheese/fruit appetizer........then Creamy Tomato Bisque with Croissants............Green Salad with Green Goddess Dressing (home made)...............Pork Loin with cranberry relish and mashed potatoes with Dijon Tarragon Gravy.  We will top it off with Creamy Mandarin Mousse and a selection of cookies/candy.  I will make the Mousse tomorrow and the salad and potatoes will be made Saturday.  Everything else just needs to be heated up or put together.  I hope it will be good...............................

Speaking of food.  I have just happened to be around for some of the goodies friends have brought to Jason and Mamie this first week of having Beau home.  Marilyn brought cake and Patti brought Lasagna, salad and cookies.  I just happened to be there Sunday evening to enjoy that.  Monday Brett and Ashley brought a Spaghetti meal.............I missed out on that.  Last night Leah Bell and her husband brought chicken and noodles, sandwiches and apple crisp.  It was yummy!  Oh, I just happened to be there last night too.  I wonder what's for supper tonight.................................................?

For some reason, however, I am not hungry.  Could be I have tasted the Tomato Bisque one too many times.  Looks good.  Doesn't it?

Those white lumps are the cream cheese that is melting in the bisque.................full fat..................
