because I am getting tired and crabby and that is not a pretty sight! Mom and I did finish putting borders on the stars. Mom chose to put three borders on and to miter the corners which is a big job. She had never done that before, but she did a good job. I just put one wide black border on because I don't really know what I want to do yet. I am thinking about doing some applique on it. Anyway......................TADA!!
We will resume our retreat next week to finish the backing and to piece the bonus small quilt. This has been a neat project to do....................you end up with a big quilt, quilt backing, and a bonus small quilt............very little fabric wasted!
Lovely, both of them. I love the color combinations and how there is very little waste. One of the reasons I don't like to do the topsy turvy (or tilted) quilts. Hate cutting that and not having anything to use it for.
