Boonslick Trail Quilters Guild 2010 Part 6

We have some amazing members in our guild, one in particular is Bettina Having who is an author, appraiser, speaker, teacher, pattern designer, and is involved in quilt history projects and the promotion of quilting.  Check out her website at www.bettinahavig.com.  Here are two of the many quilts she exhibited at the quilt show: 

This beautiful medallion is "Barrington Hall" and is featured in Bettina's book Across the Pond, which includes the pattern for this quilt.

"Peony" is pieced, appliqued, stuffed and corded and is a  scaled down replica of a quilt documented in the Missouri Quilt Project.   Bettina made this replica as part of a quilt study with AQSG. Check out Bettina's website www.bettinahavig.com to learn more about her work.
