I saw this baby lying next to one of our machine sheds when I cam from church this morning. I didn't want to scare the Momma Cow, but I had to sneak up to get a photo. Momma was lying down, but when I peeked aroung the corner of the building she immediately jumped up and if looks could kill, I would have died five minutes ago. I quickly snapped a couple of frames.
If you look closely at this little calf you will notice how his fur is standing up in all directions. Momma Cow licks her new born baby dry when it is born.........................hence the term, "cowlick". Do you have one of those in your head of hair? Now you know where you got it.................Just kidding.
