A tour through my studio.........................

I have been cleaning today and I was looking for an excuse to take a break..............hence the tour through my studio.

When I moved from my big house to my small house, I decided I WOULD have a studio---no matter what!  I needed to be organized, so I bought these wonderful stacked drawers to put all my tools in......I got 4 of them and really could use another.  They are a beautiful honey colored wood and they sit on casters that lock if you want them locked.  They are wonderful!

don't you love my thread drawers---here is my machine embroidery thread...

and more thread............I actually have 5 drawers of thread.

This drawer contains some of my art supplies............

This stack contains more art supplies.......brushes, misc. tools, art papers.............

colored pencils, chalk, oil pastels...............and my little model of the human body in action.

more art supplies..............water color tubes,  paper cutters, tapes.....

paper mache, plaster of paris........

This tower contains my machine embroidery tools and supplies............

various fabric markers, misc. rulers, drafting and paper for paper piecing

even some yarns and thread for crochet and knitting.............

beads and other embellishments..........

quilting and applique templates, template material, design paper.............

embroidery threads............

stabilizers.................

misc. embellishments..................

and then there is the closet where I keep most of my stash...............

large quilting and cutting templates.........

projector and dye chemicals.............

fabric and more fabric and freezer paper.............

and my sewing table....................

and my design wall with my grandchildren's quilts that are in progress.............

my library of art and quilt books and magazines...............
my zebra painting above my storage towers.................

my bulletin board backed in beautiful fabric.............
my sewing space......................where I create to my heart's content.
